Sunrise
Insomnia, snoring, waking up at night... Is there something wrong with your sleep?
Sunrise is a simple test and quick answers to diagnose sleep apnea.
Sunrise, the wireless sensor to analyse your sleep.
Who?
Sunrise is a Belgian start-up that has developed a product that is becoming increasingly known as an effective sleep analyser that can detect a range of sleep disorders from the comfort of your bed. The tool is very small, barely 3 grams, and is placed on the chin. As soon as it is activated, it begins its analysis. A full report is then generated after the analysis phase.
How does it work?
First of all, before you start, you need to install the Sunrise application. In fact, it is thanks to this application that the data from the sensor will be analysed. Once the application is installed, you need to create an account and fill in a questionnaire. This is to create a profile with data such as height, weight, sleeping habits, etc.
It takes 5 to 10 minutes to complete the questionnaire. Once the questionnaire is completed, the sensor can be installed and activated using the QR code in the box. As soon as the sensor is activated, it starts recording. You can then get into position and prepare for the arrival of the sandman!
What is recorded?
During the night, the sensor will record a whole series of data such as breathing effort, micro-awakenings, the total time spent asleep or the sleep phases. As well as the position of the person being tested. In addition, all these data are compiled and correlated when the report is drawn up. This is done in order to obtain an accurate and certified diagnosis for sleep apnoea and/or the presence of other sleep breathing disorders. In addition, for each detected anomaly, the application offers a scientific explanation of the phenomenon.
The information is presented in an easily understandable way. The combination of both graphics and explanations makes the report quite comprehensive. In addition, the application also offers to send this complete report to the treating physician.
In summary.
It is a certified medical device with a CE mark, and is therefore subject to strict controls. In short, like any other medical device. This tool allows you to understand a lot about how your nights are going, and allows you to take the necessary actions to improve them, all from the comfort of your bed.
