As Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects from the initial idea to the production of a prototype or a marketable product. You will play a key role in supporting customers throughout the design phase, ensuring that deadlines, costs and technical requirements are met. You will work closely with engineers and customers to ensure the success of each project. This position is designed for an engineer (mechanical, electromechanical or electronic) with solid experience in technical project management.
Technical skills
The ideal candidate will have an engineering background (mechanical, electromechanical or electronics engineer) and proven project management experience in these fields. You have a good command of project management methodologies, and are comfortable using project management tools. A good understanding of the design, prototyping and validation processes for electronic or electromechanical products is essential. You will also need to be able to collaborate effectively with engineering teams to resolve technical challenges encountered during the various phases of the project.
Interpersonal skills
As a Project Manager at Quimesis, you will be the main point of contact for customers, from project feasibility assessment through to delivery of the final product. You'll need to be an excellent communicator, able to manage customer expectations while establishing a relationship of trust. You will also be required to coordinate the efforts of different teams (engineers, designers, technicians), ensuring good communication between all stakeholders. Quality Engineer responsible for ensuring that Quimesis' internal products and processes meet ISO and European standards.
Junior role supervised by a senior (external) quality consultant.
Technical skills
Engineering degree (quality orientation) or biomedical sciences.
First experience in quality assurance and regulatory affairs for medical devices is preferred.
Good understanding of the medical device regulatory environment (directives and regulations).
Good knowledge of medical device quality assurance (ISO13485) and relevant standards.
Fluency in English and French or Dutch.
