The mechanical designer had already been chosen and Quimesis was selected to work on the electronics and embedded software. The result: an aesthetic, autonomous and easy-to-use machine to serve the perfect glass of wine wherever you are: in a hotel, restaurant, brasserie, inn, or any Horeca establishment.

A revolutionary wine dispenser
Quimesis worked on Invineo's electronics and embedded software. The developers created a custom device and digital interface to provide users with an autonomous machine capable of assisting establishments in wine distribution.

A complete user interface
The dispenser hides many high-end technologies such as a service control, a web interface controlled by an embedded Linux operating system, and specially developed connectivity to be ergonomic and intuitive. Invineo can also manage a wifi and 3G connection for digital communication and remote data recording that can be used in any environment.

An intelligent and ecological distribution system
Invineo integrates an NFC reader to allow user authentication as well as automated RFID identification of different wines. This allows each wine to be served at the ideal temperature thanks to an automated and silent cooling system. The developers have developed wine tubes allowing 2 liters of wine to be served per unit (i.e. 20 glasses of 10cL). Their packaging is fully recyclable and reusable, which reduces carbon emissions by 75%. The wine tubes are inserted automatically and the identification of the wines by RFID allows the Invineo dispenser's computer software to automatically adapt the temperature of the dispenser.
Today, many distributors are installed in Belgium and abroad. This company, based in Wallonia, has grown from three employees to more than ten in its young existence. It now offers a selection of more than 60 different wines to its customers. The development of the software and embedded software plays a key role in this type of product, as it opens the door to intelligent connectivity which is a goldmine of information. Indeed, each machine is connected, and thanks to this connection to the cloud, it is possible to repatriate a lot of data (big data) which makes it possible to extract real consumption trends, to plan predictive maintenance, remote support, and to provide many other indicators that are very useful for anticipating customer needs.
