Why?
Quimesis develops its own robotic solutions for different types of markets such as solar panel cleaning, telepresence robots, sorting robots, etc. All these robots have the same needs in terms of control, connectivity, user interface, and actuators. That's why Quimesis decided to develop a versatile box that can be used on many types of professional robots: The QuimBox.
What is it?
The QuimBox includes a motherboard with a powerful i.MX6 processor running Linux and ROS. It provides a complete set of communication buses from RS232 to WiFi and 3G. The box can be customized with up to three expansion cards to control actuators or read sensors. This modular design allows the product to be adapted to most robotics applications.

We did the complete electronic design, from concept to product certification. This demonstrates our expertise in power electronics, motor control, high frequency routing, wireless technologies and safety aspects.
